Switch vowels without changing pitch.
Per bel canto, stable pitch across vowel changes is a prerequisite for legato. Most singers raise or lower pitch when they shift from a closed vowel to an open one. Each trial: 1.5 s on vowel A, 1.5 s on vowel B, single continuous breath. Pitch SD ≤ 30¢ across the full 3 seconds.
