Why this matters: per the source research report, hard-gating which register you’re in (chest / mix / head) from audio alone is unreliable — but the *break* itself has a clean signature: a brief amplitude dip + a tone-quality wobble. Your job here is to calibrate your *awareness* of those flips. The app counts what it heard. You report what you felt. The skill is the match.

5 trials. Each: glide on /u/ from your low comfortable pitch to your highest accessible pitch and back. The app counts detected break-events; you report how many you felt. Pass = your count is within ±1 of the detector. 4 of 5 passes the session.
