Why this matters: in real singing, you connect notes by gliding before locking in. The art is the landing — coming to rest exactly on a target without scooping past it or settling under it.
8 glides. We play a starting pitch and name a landing note. Glide there and rest. The last 1 second of voicing must sit within ±35¢ of the target. Land 7 of 8 to pass.
