Land cleanly on each vowel — the consonant is just punctuation.
Per bel canto, consonants must articulate cleanly without disrupting the vowel resonance underneath. We’ll click 4 beats at 80bpm — sing “ma-pa-ta-ka” on each click, on a comfortable single pitch. We score how close each consonant lands to its beat (±30 ms) and whether the vowel holds steady afterward (≥200 ms within ±35¢).
5 trials. Each: 4 count-in clicks, then 4 syllables on the click. Pass = all 4 consonants on time and all 4 vowels steady. 4 of 5 trials passes.
